Avian Flu in Germany does NOT affect SA ostrich industry

The South African Ostrich Business Chamber (SAOBC) has confirmed that the South African Government's
ban on import of poultry and poultry products from Germany, has NO impact on the South African ostrich
industry because South Africa is a nett exporter of ostrich products.
The ban was instituted following an outbreak of Avian Influenza in Germany
